Mlm Prospecting has got to be the single most important thing you MUST do for success in your business. There are TWO money generating activities when you are talking about the network marketing industry. The first is finding customers. Customers are good for business. Customers are the backbone of your business and without them your chances are minimal. The second money generating activity is of course prospecting. Mlm prospecting is the single most important thing that somehow gets overlooked by many people. If you aren’t exposing the opportunity to people, how do you expect to make any REAL money? The answer is, you can’t!

What Makes Mlm Prospecting so Difficult?

I don’t think many people realize how feared this topic is exactly. I would know since I also went through this phase. When it all comes down to it, we tend to fear doing mlm prospecting due to what we feel others will think of us. We care too much about what others think when they truly could care less about you because they are worried about themselves and their issues. It’s a bit narcissistic to think that everyone is thinking about you all the time.

Another reason I believe people fail at mlm prospecting is due to a lack of confidence. This is confidence not only in themselves, but also in the products they are selling or the opportunity they are providing. In my opinion, if you don’t believe in the product and company 100% then you shouldn’t be involved with it. The fact of the matter is that you won’t put in any real effort into your business if you don’t have a 100% shadow of a doubt mindset. You’ve gotta know that your opportunity is what will help people and take them where they want to be in life. After all, if you’re not involved to help change some lives, then you’re involved for all the wrong reasons and you’ll fail.

Mlm Prospecting While In Your Comfort Zone…

This almost sounds like an oxymoron if you ask me. We all know that you must get out of your comfort zone when you are mlm prospecting right? Well yeah, typically speaking that is the case. I recently was listening to a mentor of mine and he really put out some powerful marketing tips. The strategies put out there were quite simple and really doesn’t require that you exit your comfort zone much.

Are you familiar with $100 drop cards? These seem to be the talk of the industry right now in my eyes. These are business cards that are made to resemble the US $100 bill on the outside. When you drop them wherever, it looks just like a $100 bill. This then entices the individual that notices it to grab it and satisfy their curiosity. Those disappointed in that the bill isn’t authentic will throw it back down for the next person to see. This will continue on until it falls in the hands of someone who will then go visit the site on the card. This marketing method seems to be very effective and simple. There are many different strategies you can use in the way you put out these drop cards, but that is something I’ll lay out in a later post. In all, this marketing method allows for mlm prospecting to be fun and a lot easier.
