Is This One Of Those Pyramid Things!?

The Pyramid Thing One of the most common things you’ll hear being in the network marketing industry is, “Is this one of them pyramid things?” My question is why do we even entertain this question!? The one asking is obviously ignorant about the industry meaning the chances they’ll join your business are VERY slim! There is no need to get into explaining why it’s not an illegal pyramid scheme and how it works. Just for your pleasure, I’ll provide some ways to overcome and respond to this objection. I’ve used and heard this plenty of times from some top leaders in the industry.

At your job don’t you have a boss? Doesn’t your boss have a boss? Then doesn’t your bosses boss have a boss? Aren’t there middle managers? Isn’t there a president? Isn’t there a CEO? Now where do you fall in that pyramid? AT THE BOTTOM!

Yes, it is quite a bit, but they begin to get the picture. In reality, even after painting a vivid picture for this person they probably still won’t get it. You have to accept the fact that not everyone is going to be like you and I. There are employee minded individuals that are content and satisfied with the “security” that their job provides.

The Strongest Structure – The Pyramid Thing

If you haven’t noticed by now, “the pyramid thing” or the triangular shape creates the most stable structures the world has seen. Most of our infrastructure was built with the triangle shape included somewhere in it. It is one of the strongest structural forms and is used to reinforce and support weight. If you keep all of that in mind, it only makes since to build a company with “the pyramid thing” structure. How could you sustain something when it’s very top heavy with little to nothing at the bottom to hold it up? YOU CAN’T! Even with these things laid out to a skeptic or cynic they STILL will more than likely have the same outlook.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. If you truly want my opinion, I think that it’s best to NOT even entertain the conversation. By the end of it, you haven’t proved your point and you may even have been somewhat drawn into their views of the opportunity. This can be true especially in brand new network marketers. To a brand new marketer in this industry, the remarks made by someone ignorant to the industry can sound so convincing. It’s like they really know what they are talking about sometimes! If you’ve been in the industry long enough you know what I mean. LOL It can be quite hilarious at times. The thing is, you know the reality of the situation and can’t allow for anyone to knock you off of your course. Never allow for “Is this one of those pyramid things?” to knock you out the game!
